We are thrilled to introduce ISMPP’s new Volunteer Gateway, designed to empower and engage our dedicated members in meaningful ways. The Gateway offers an opportunity for you to take on a leadership role, guiding and supporting fellow volunteers as we work together to make a positive impact for our ISMPP community.
As a Volunteer, you will have the chance to develop valuable skills, build lasting relationships, and contribute to the success of our initiatives. Whether you're passionate about organizing events, mentoring new volunteers, or driving innovative projects, this program is your Gateway to making a difference.
Gateway Next Steps
- Review the list of 15 current volunteer opportunities below and apply today. Read about the Committees that are forming for the new 2025-2026 cycle and consider where you might engage to make an impact and advance our work on behalf of the Medical Communications and Publications community. Select up to two committees to apply to and indicate your preference in the form; however, we strongly recommend volunteering for only one committee per committee year. Participating as a committed Member-Volunteer earns points for recognition and achievement
- Interested in leading a Committee as Chair? Committee Chairs earn supplemental points for leading meetings, designating activities, monitoring progress, and reviewing deliverables
- Create or review your Volunteer Profile. Sharing your interests and passions will help ISMPP connect you with the perfect volunteer opportunities. Your input will also guide us in shaping initiatives that resonate with our members' enthusiasm and dedication
- Use the Committee Volunteer Gateway Reference Guide to navigate our new Volunteer Gateway with ease. Discover how you can contribute, connect, and make an impact!
Keep in Mind...
The committee's success is driven by its members, with real impact coming from focusing on a few key tactical deliverables that serve our community. Committee Volunteer-Members are expected to consistently contribute their time and effort through committee meetings, workstream discussions, and hands-on execution. Workload may fluctuate, with busier periods requiring additional commitments to meet key milestones and deadlines. Committee chairs should expect a greater time investment than standard members. Qualifications associated with the opportunity represent skills expertise and professional experience; matching to ANY of the required qualifications signifies eligibility to join the committee. Spaces on committees are limited and acceptance on a committee is not guaranteed.
Join us in this exciting journey and become a catalyst for change. Your enthusiasm, creativity, and commitment are the keys to inspiring others and creating a vibrant volunteer community. Together, we can achieve great things and leave a lasting legacy.
Let's make a difference, one volunteer at a time!
